Great views and spacious rooms with a comfortable bed. Nice breakfast and friendly hosts willing to help with local information. , good parking spaces and a serene environment that allows one to relax.
The distance from the town center was quite a hassle, especially for guests without a car. The walk to the town center is steep and could take up to 20 minutes, and there are no shops or restaurants close by.

I had a fantastic stay at Austin Heights! The room was beautiful and very clean, with a delightful view over the rose garden. The hosts, Lynne and John, were incredible and made me feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious and I loved hearing about the history of the house. The location was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring Kaikoura. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
Although the stay was amazing, I did have a few minor issues. The Wi-Fi, which was voucher-based, was a bit cumbersome to use.

The accommodation was the cleanest I have ever stayed in and I have travelled world wide. The owners were very warm and friendly and the continental breakfast was lovely. We will return to this b&b next time we stay in Kaikoura.
Only one small thing was there was no airconditioning in one of the rooms we stayed in, but there was a ceiling fan.

The accommodation was more than we expected of a B&B, a private suite more like a hotel but much more personalized. Our hosts were delightful, friendly & helpful. The breakfast was outstanding & beautifully presented. We would have liked to stay longer.

We had an incredible stay at Austin Heights Quality Bed & Breakfast. John and Lynne, our hosts, went above and beyond to make our time there extra special. the rooms were lovely, with stunning views and all the amenities we needed. the breakfast they served was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed engaging conversations with both our hosts and fellow guests. the location was perfect too, with the added bonus of being within walking distance of Kean Point. We can't wait to visit Austin Heights again and have another fantastic experience!
Can't think of a single thing 🤷♀️.

The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel right at home from the start. the room we stayed in was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. the view from our room was breathtaking and we loved the quiet location. It was great to have a delicious breakfast before we headed out to explore the area. the hosts were also great at recommending local activities and restaurants.
The WiFi was quite slow and limited, and we had to go to a nearby cafe for a better connection. the street parking was somewhat limited and we had to park a bit further away from the property.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel facilities and rooms was exceptional. The hotel has a great location on the mountains, with stunning views of the countryside and the sea. The breakfast provided by the hotel was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Also, the hotel had convenient transportation options, including a courtesy bus service to local restaurants like the Green Dolphin and the Pier.
Nothing for me.
